EFF's Surveillance Self-Defense Guide
Surveillance Self-Defense (SSD) is a free online resource published by the Electronic Frontier Foundation that teaches people how to protect their privacy and security in the digital world.
The site organizes advice into threat model-based guides, covering topics like encrypting communications, using Tor, securing devices, and protecting yourself from specific adversaries such as governments or stalkers. It includes beginner-friendly overviews as well as more technical deep dives. All content is freely available without an account, and the EFF updates it regularly to reflect changes in tools and threats.
